Thank you for using an Aptus pattern. Before you begin, please read the recommendations and instructions included with your download — they cover printing at true scale, which is where most problems start.
These patterns are intended for individual leathercrafters.
What you may do
Make and sell
You may create unlimited physical leather items from this pattern, for your own use or for sale. No royalty, no reporting, no permission needed.
Share your work
If you post something you made from one of these patterns, a tag or mention is always welcome — it genuinely helps. It is entirely optional, and there is no expectation of credit on items you list for sale.
What you may not do
Pass on the pattern itself
You may not resell, redistribute, sub-license or share the pattern file, in whole or in part, digitally or printed.
Produce tools or templates from it
You may not manufacture, sell or distribute acrylic templates, paper or cardboard pattern packs, clicker dies, vector files, or any secondary tooling derived from this pattern.
If you want to make templates or dies for a workshop, write to hello@aptuspatterns.com — a separate licence can be arranged.
Team or mass production
Businesses, teams and multi-person workflows may use the pattern privately, but items produced through team or mass production may not be sold under this licence.
Ownership
The pattern and its design remain the exclusive intellectual property of Aptus Patterns. Buying a pattern buys you the licence described above, not the design.
Versions and corrections
Every sheet carries a version stamp in its footer. When a correction is published, the updated files replace the originals and you can download the current version at no cost. If you find an error, please tell me — it gets fixed and credited.
Liability
Leatherwork involves sharp tools. Please work carefully and at your own risk.
Patterns are provided as is. Every sheet is cross-checked before release, but no guarantee is made of fitness for any particular project, material or outcome. Always verify the printed scale before cutting leather.
Refunds & support
As a digital product, sales are final once the files have been downloaded.
If something is wrong with your files — a bad download, the wrong spacing, a geometry error — write to me and it will be sorted out. That is not a refund policy loophole; it is the actual intent.
